Efficient TVME

The iHOL Group designs and manufactures facilities equipped with the latest generation of material sorting technologies called TVME, “Tri Valorisation Matière Energie” (Matter Energy Sorting Recovery).

They recover household waste, bio-waste and green waste to:

  • produce VALOR+, a fuel with a high heating value > 17 kJ/kg, with a defined and constant quality, for energy recovery.
  • recover recyclable components from various types of waste (ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastic, inert, cardboard, paper, organic…)
  • potentially produce Biofertis, a compost with a quality that is higher than the criteria for standard NFU 44-051

Selective sorting

Selective collections: iHOL optimises selective sorting

In these centres, selective collections from households are sorted in order to group material by family: paper, cardboard, linerboard, aluminium, ferrous metals and plastics (PET per colour, PE, PP, PS, PVC, …), Tetra.

We offer solutions where the level of automation depends on the local context. The objective is to find the right balance among investment, operating costs and sales revenue for sorted materials.

In this sense, iHOL defines and sizes the most suitable sorting line by simulating various scenarios implementing, as desired, equipment such as: ballistic separator, pre-sorting cabin, optic separator, eddy current separator, magnetic separator, sorting cabin…

The materials, isolated in this way, are baled to be carried to recycling channels on the global market.


Plastic recycling

PE, PP, PEHD, highly sought after raw materials.

The units that we produce recover all types of plastic waste (PE, PP, PEHD, PET) in the form of balls or “flakes”.

These plastic balls or “flakes” are then carried to plastics specialists to develop finished products: garden furniture, polar clothing…


TNV - Tyre recycling

The TNV process developed by iHOL makes it possible to separate the tyre’s rubber from other components (textile and scrap metal) with a purity level of 99%.

The recovered rubber is then transformed into powder to be reused in road building or in eco-product manufacturing.

For example, in partnership with the Ecole des Mines, we have developed a process that makes it possible to mix this powder with plastic granules to manufacture slatted-type eco-products used for ecological car parks, aerodromes…

Research & Development


Biomatic is a system developed by the SCT and iHOL Groups’ R&D teams. This system is designed to meet the French needs, resulting from the application of new regulatory trends and respond to community demand for more compact units.

It makes it possible to:

  • Cover a treatment range of 15 to 120 t/day
  • Optimise the decomposition of organic matter (high level of dryness/high level of material loss)
  • Obtain a high and quality SRF “Solid Recovered Fuel” production (cement and boiler)
  • Obtain low treatment costs
  • Maintain a healthy work atmosphere
  • Control the impact on the local environment



This system is very complete. It allows for the construction of a reduced-sized building, practically equivalent to that of a treatment room eliminating all unnecessary spaces.

It is also designed so it can use lighter coats, being configured as a turnkey system.

Delivered as a “removable pack” with a covered treatment chamber, including ventilation and odour treatment, its installation is very quick and economical.


iHOL’s patented process uses the vitrification technique that makes it possible to melt clinker and makes it inert. This technique also makes it possible to recover residual metals contained in the clinker. The energy required for melting clinker is obtained by SRF gasification (transformation of a carbon-rich material into combustible gases). This development initiated by iHOL targets 3 principal objectives:
